@Iamsoocluess find a battery hot in fuse block and tap there. Draws very little power. It’s just for clock and presets memory. Easy to do

    Wiring Harness journal

American Autowire kit install today. Cleaned up the PO (s) headlight wiring and hopefully high beam and low beam problem (one each on at same time, passed inspection thought!) Pretty straight forward install except what they do not tell you is the connectors are all Delco and need a special...

    Custom Kick Panel Cover

Easton put together a makeshift cover for passenger side kick panel vent that he wanted gone after Vintage Air installation. Now he has a continuous squeak from that side he feels is the metal shifting as he drives. I saw somewhere a company that makes custom kick panel vent covers but searching...

@scrap--metal , Mike used a locking strip as well, not the self locking one we chose from precision. Very glad it’s sealed and we have moved on to other issues!! Randy and E

Matter of fact when he set new vent window Saturday, he used the same sealant to mount glass in vent frame. No rubber insert strip….

    Windshield Woes

@Grit dog , yes. Had a powered caulking gun and I mean he shot a ton in there. Then used WD40 to clean excess after he set the locking strip which caused a bunch to ooze out everywhere. @scrap--metal , yes you’re right. I’ll try and dig up the pictures of the gaps we had with the precision...

Anyone Use Classic Industries Dash Pad

@Grit dog , well, as you said truck shop has been a goat rope since we order the dash. It came, looked great. One warm day went to install and dash bezel trim did not fit. Like dash was formed incorrectly. Called and worked with Gil. Sent pictures after he suggest I “cut the holes to fit” told...

    Windshield Woes

And he did the entire windshield with the gasket and only charges Easton $80…. I would have paid twice that after all the trouble we had putting it in the first time. There were such large gaps in the precision gasket at the passengers side upper and lower corners and water was literally gushing...

    Windshield Woes

@scrap--metal , I think cop out personally and I really respect Jeff and his team at precision but the videos they posted said nothing of bonding the gasket to pinch weld and then when it was a river inside that was the answer. It took us I know 4 hours to originally get glass in and I was toast...

    73 c10 Windshield wiper switch back-light

Yes sir! The bulb from super bright LED only goes in one way (funny I know) to make it work. It makes that backlight on the wipers bright and visible and you can choose a color or just white. Easton wanted blue to match stereo display color

@Dleslie212 , we just went LED and Easton loves the look. If you go that route super bright LED’s is the place to go.. Randy
