    You can pull one out and drop the other in, yes. The intake manifold and fuel delivery system are different. The pumps and belt drive system are different, but again, yes, the engine is the same.

    Buy an extra tube of adhesive for both. It takes about a tube and a half to properly attach the cover. Permatex 80050 clear or 75151. I don't know why they are stingy with the stuff but you will need it.
