The old CD player that came with the truck was nonfunctional, and the bezel was already hacked up because of it, so I just grabbed a piece of plastic from the hardware store and cut it to cover that area. I dropped mine 5/6. Here’s photos with rallies and with 20” Turned out good. If I were to give anyone advice, make sure you have headers for passenger car (I used Chevelle) and a low profile transmission mount to tuck up the exhaust. I just ended up using CPP lowering springs. I’m still...- ChuckN

Got the vacuum gauge installed, and just got back from the cruise and tune. I think it wants the next size up metering rod, that will be interesting.I was able to dial in the step up springs (definitely needs the most aggressive silver spring) and also the idle mixture. -

Good info. Leaf springs are new, so are CPP lowering springs. Well, less than 1500 miles on both of them anyway. As soon as my schedule lines up, I’m going to make the tool that Ricko suggested and put a spacer under the driver side spring.- ChuckN

I tried to get the lower ball joint out this afternoon, but it won’t pop out seemingly without ruining the ball joint pressed into the tubular LCA. Well, if the rig isn’t held together by zip ties, and you don’t have to turn on the heater to activate the fuel pump, you’re doing awright.
