    Have both, electric is nicer if vehicle sits often. But then cranking engine to get fuel also pumps oil when starting after sitting for a while. Really should add ignition/oil pressure driven electric fuel pump circuit if daily driver

    Aluminium big rad worked much better than stock unit on my 91. Had to extend the brackets(similar as big bbc rad set up)

    I would second the brodix heads or if stock modern, could use l29 style oval ports. Close chambers for bump in compression. 430hp, 530tq on stock gm 8.0l

    My 91 burb would be right around 45-50 idle 3+ hours in 100+ heat with recirc on. Otherwise in reasonable conditions 37ish

    I just use a dull curved large pick for removal/installation.

    Changed hinge pins on driver side. driver side door came from a different car at some point and window frame does not line up at all. Huge variable gaps around the top. Played with adjustment some, including bending the top channel some and added a seal on body side.

    There is no screw on the column part. I think he might have been referring to where it mounts on the cluster.

    Old rag joint for reference. With 3rd gen f body box elco became a different vehicle. A lot more inspiring steering, even with the rest of the stuff being old. Also found driver side lower a arm loosing hardware and loose. Tightened it secure.

    Led under the column likely an add on. Shift indicator clips on the shifter rotating part of the column. For me clipping it in while in drive position tend to work better than using park position.

    I bought fuel related parts a long time ago. So proceeding on cutting holes, mounting a ford fuel pump bucket to feed stock 67 fuel sender. If it was not that I already spent money on this parts, would have just ordered fuel injected fuel tank that they sell now.

    I thought all 3rd gens had same stops. Steering box is back together. Caught lower radiator hose trying to explode.

    It already been serving daily duties so far (no floors and all at the beginning). Now it is becoming more of a reasonable daily. Really kind of want to sell it before the paint completely fails. But it is now my only vehicle for my use(camaro is in pieces and trans am in paint). Added air bags...

    are quadrajet baseplates the same flavor?

    Early base plate has different primary shaft length. But early base plate will work with later shaft if a bushing/spacer is added. I had to use later model shaft on older plate to get electric choke to line up. Late model plate will not work with early shaft unless milled.

    Decided to install the better radio. Actually sounds pretty good. This will be my only main daily for a while, so some working music preferred.

    Took the ws6 f body steering box apart. Need to machine the stops off, clean and reseal. Then will be a replacement for the elco

    Have radio left to install. Have one that only radio works and one that is fully functional. But have to take the good one out of a different vehicle that is getting a better one.

    Bed piece installed. Some new ac ducting and speakers. Finally received new connector for fan selector switch that i need to install and dash pad can get installed.
