    Hey so I have a 14 bolt and a dana 70. I am not sure with one I should use. They have the same ground clearance. what disc brake conversions are out there for the dana 70. although I believe it is cheaper and easier to put a locker in a 14 bolt. Thanks any tips are appreciated.

    The engine has been sitting for 3 Years in a garage and when it ran a couple of the springs did not move. So I am going thru the engine getting it prepped and ready for the truck. I am familiar with prepping the cam. But how do you prep the lifters?

    Hello i am switching my 6 lug hubs to make them 8 lug and i got to the part where there is a clip on the outside holding the hubs inside parts in. the ring is on the outside and is a pain to get out. I have been unsuccessful so far does anyone have a tip to getting the ring out. Thanks

    i have taken 2 wheel drive truck hangers off the front of the rear springs and used them and liked it that way Can you explain what you mean. Did you take the hangers of a two wheel drive truck.

    I do not have run flats but They run at about about 50 dollars at trail worthy.com they uses pvc cut to length. other run flats are supposed to tear up ure tire but the pvc works well. (so they say) I do not have experience with them though.

    I would look at your local military stores and there are some private bushiness that own all the military trucks I would also check to see if there are any there.

    I found these tires at a local guy who gets a shipment. The re centered rims are at a local shop that does it. But if you are looking to run bigger tires these are the way to go

    Yah i have seen that too still it is good price compared to more than 300 dollars a tire for a good 37 inch tire. And i have seen it both ways. Both ways are still good.

    This is just a tip I thought i would post. the Humvee use 37 inch tires that uses bead locked rims. The way the rim is set up is that You could use for some axles but the rim pushes the tire way inside the fender wells. But you can get a shop to cut the center section out then put your steel rim...

    The only reason why I thought i would look into it is because i will have the brackets off I just wanted to see if if i could scoot the axle back since im using a 4x4 flatbed.

    The shackles are off a chevy 1 ton crewcab and i measured and from bolt to bolt they are 6 inches.

    No i posted the one you quoted then removed it i understand since it is 6 inches then the diffrence is 12 divide that by 2 an you get 6 inches of lift am i correct.
