i need to replace the cylinders on my rear drum brakes. my question is: does the replacement cylinder come with the 'rods' or 'plungers' that actually make contact with the shoe assemblies? or do i need to keep the old parts to put in the new cylinders? i've got the 13" brake drums on the...

    Which part is this ?

yes, pretty much just a 'reserve' of vacuum to 'smooth out' any fluctuations from stopping/going/fast/slow etc etc.

    Which part is this ?

my '85 k20 has a line coming off that very port. about 3 inches going up to a tee junction. it then goes to the driver's side 'vacuum ball' (cannonball shaped container mounted on the fender), and the other side runs through the firewall and onto the back of the AC/heater control 'cluster'...

some help sourcing a vacuum line would be appreciated

there is a 'hard plastic' vacuum line going from the intake manifold to the climate control 'box' (the thing with the fan switch, hot/cold lever, and a/c,vent,heat,defrost lever) the hard vacuum line is stopped up and therefore won't operate the vacuum operated doors in the air delivery box...

Would it be possible to hook up a gt grant steering wheel to a 85 column shift

one of my favorite wheels. just go on the grant site and get the adapter/install kit. it will push the wheel toward you a couple inches though. the horn pigtail is usually 'in the kit'. good luck!
