Recently bought a 1985 C10 Custom Deluxe long bed work truck with steel wheels and dog dish caps. I'm assuming these were stock in 85?
I like the simple wheel with dog dish caps very much and may do without the trim ring too. I plan to repaint the wheels and clean the hubcaps and upgrade to a taller tire of around 30 or 31 inches.

I hope someone could help me out. What is the actual name for this non-rally wheel?
What is the correct paint?
Thanks Dan

I've never heard them called anything but steel wheels but if there was another name for them from GM, I'm sure @Keith Seymore would know. Also, by then the only color I've ever seen on them was white. I believe earlier trucks could be color keyed to the truck but I think the '80s trucks only got white.

Thanks Zach. :)

At some point my trucks wheels were painted black. I plan on cleaning them up and painting them white.
