Howdy all!

I just acquired a really nice one owner C20 454 2wd suburban. I want to tow a travel trailer with it but cruise it as well.

Will a 2/4 drop compromise towing a 6-7k lb bumper pull?

@Old77 this reminds me of one of your Burby's, did you ever lower that one? I can't remember.
Yes. Was supposed to be 3/4 but ended up more like 5/5

No, you’ll be good! May want to add some helper bags for towing but you’d probably want that anyway IMO

Nice!!!

I have these 20” on the way and it sounds like a 2/4 is what’s in store!

txaggie, NICE truck!! Old77, what did you do to get that stance? I’m trying to figure out how I want to lower my dually without notching the frame.

One thing worth mentioning. I want to get a 6-8k lb bumper pull travel trailer. Will this 2/4 drop affect towing capabilities?

As I said before, no it won’t. You’ll want to incorporate helper bags, tho

Western Chassis springs and spindles up front and leaf springs in rear
