Are these stronger or faster than stock or just a better quality replacement unit?

I haven't for these trucks.
But I've had several '40 Ford p/u's, and have used Newport wipers for them...a quality product.
Good to hear!! :happy160:

Have you used the delay option? I assume the guys are inside that big ol metal box? So you would do away with the steering column stalk altogether except for the signal function? They are only for 85-87? Are those years unique as far as the motor goes?

These are brand new units and sealed waterproof. Anyone try these yet? Or am I going to be the
first to shell out the $$$$ to try these?

This system has a much nicer switch assembly than the Newport but was back ordered and twice the cost of the Newport when I bought

With wiring schematics or analyzing the switch of the Newport system it should be possible to use a original switch with some modifications. The wiper wiring is not rocket science. Maybe that's worth a try.

DSE,great product. Ill pass on $700 bucks.
Thats for rich people
Yeah, and they keep going up in price. I looked at it for my Nova about 7-8 years ago and it was $280. A month later it was $350, then $450, and now $800. I still haven't ordered it yet. On the Nova it mounts behind the firewall for a clean look.
