Haha, this guys scraping the ground as he's driving. Hence the sparks flying out from under the truck. I don't want mine doing that. God forbid he comes across a bump it pot hole in the road. Probably rip off the exhaust. Lol
My exhaust is entirely above the bottom of the frame and I have GM A-body headers so they are above the bottom of the frame too. That truck probably had plates welded to it for scraping. I hope anyway.

ITT: two ruined trucks

those wheels on the 3+3 are ******* hideous too.
And dear god that poor 3 door suburban. I would rescue that thing if I could.
I'll agree the wheels are hideous but I have yet to see dually wheels that aren't hideous. Lug nuts out as far as the tire are not for me. And stop putting those giant spike lug nut caps on them bigger than your non penis.

If this truck was srw with 2wd front suspension it would be even better.

It was my understanding that those pebble pusher people install like, steel blocks under the frame, so when you drive, you're not actually scraping the frame, but rather the steel blocks.

Keep in mind that those super low frame laying trucks all probably have air ride and don't normally drive around 2 inches off the ground.

My 3/4 ton will be lowered just a touch to get its attitude set just right.
But doing so will not infringe on the ability to do all the Camper Special things it was born to do.
It will still have load range E (109 rating) tires and all the springs in place, just a bit lower.

But of course, I live in the city and did not buy it to work a farm or to go off road.
It was purchased as I wanted a truck to haul house crap around.
Furniture, dirt, rock, bikes, and other stuff.

I didn't need a 3/4 ton, but it had a big block in it and I wanted it.

Well... it looks to me like it's on airbags and he is purposely hitting the spark plates. He's doing that on purpose. When he gets to a big bump he just hits a button and gets it as high as he wants.

Are you asking about lowering a C10? I get the question about having to upgrade suspension because of weight. But C trucks came stock with 454s so I would get the suspension or figure what they had that was different and run it. I like looking at a C that is factory ride hight. I'm tall, not as tall as you but it does not appeal to me to have to squat down to get into a truck that's dragging it's ass on the ground. Or to get up out of what feels like a hole in the ground when you get out of it. These appeal to me about as much as trying to fold myself up into a honda civic to ride around in.

I like the look of the 3/4 or 1 ton 2wd trucks that look more level than a c10. I wish more 2wd trucks were built with a level stance.

Anything better than cramming my ass in a s10 is OK, don't get me wrong, I love my little s10, but my ******* knees hit the steering wheel and they're nearly touching the window controls LOL.

A c10 is Ok.

I will say a round body 67-72 is pretty rough, VERY crammed.
