Hello All, well I'm finally hoping back onto my c10 to c30 project and need some help. The truck currently has all c10 suspension on it but I will be turning into a legit dually. Right now the rear is running a 5 lug custom dually hub kit wich works but is not legit in my opinion but has been on there since my dad bought the truck when I was a 6th grader. The front is all c10 5x5 lug set up but I would like to install c30 dually style hub and brakes along with drop spindles. Can I just use hubs, spindles, and new c30 brake calipers for the front or do I need to install new c30 control arms as well? Any info would be greatly appreciated. I know ill need a dually rear wich my friend will install for me.

Bucket and blues are more knowledgeable on this one for sure, didn’t realize how many differences there are with the a frames

The C10 has different control arms and bushings, compared to the 20/30 trucks. Iirc, the ball joints are smaller as well.

Correct

The way to do this is to change everything from the a-arms out. If its just for looks (which it would be) then you can keep the C10 spring for a better ride.

It might look like a C30 but it'll always be a C10. There are big differences in the frames, so please don't do this thinking it's going to raise the capacities of the truck to a C30.
