Do you know the font used for this? Would be fun to do some tool box labels in this.

Out of curiosity, do you know what filament he printed with. For example, PLA doesn't play well with heat and PETG is said to be only a bit better. ASA is said to be easier to work with than ABS, but both those last two are tough and hold up to heat and weather fairly well.

ONE of the main reasons I bought a printer to play with was, labels for wires (plug and general power), gauges, gauge hoods, and so on.

Badges would be a cake walk in the scheme of things schemed by us beginners. My tool box:

for a tool box,...I think I could use a computer printer to print a mailing label sized sticker,...
and if I did not like it anymore,...scub it off with a plasitic scraper and take the glue residue off with some dereaser.

have I done so...not yet.

I used PETG, I have done things both in PETG and ASA depending on the use case. How these are mounted, I have yet to see any degradation on my test pieces that are outside and in the sun not supported fully. I find that multicolor prints work better with the PETG, as I have less issues. It also seems there are more colors available as well.

Here are some of the things I have done for my truck. The yellow Camper Special Teepee is in ASA and painted.

Cool. About 15 years back, I bought a vinyl cutter to make my own window signs for my work van. I used common self adhesive shelf liner (contact paper) and it held up for years. Making new signs was, like with the 3-D printer, just a click away, and edits were easy.

Similarly, if a PETG print holds up fair, these are so easy to print that if you got just three years out of one [here in the heat of the desert], it wouldn't be too big a deal to swap it out for another.

This one has been setting out in the weather just like this for 6 months, it gets full afternoon sun. The resin yellowed but it looks great other wise. I have 2 more on the old fenders out behind the shed, I will try to get pics of them at some point.

Sure makes the cost of high end printers a lot less painful, when you look at the ask for these on some sites.

Another one with resin on my old fenders out back

And one without resin, still holding up strong but I like the way the resin looks, going to try some new resin and see what happens.

I had a real hard time finding original 25 Sierra Classic badges and they were a pain to reburb. It would have been nice to be able to just buy a new printed set like this.

I have 2 sets of the original sierra 25 emblems, but I wanted something slightly different, they're side specific and much larger than the factory.
