    My truck will start up no problem first thing in the morning, I have a 30 minute drive to work and when I try to start it 10 minutes after I get to work it cranks really slow. After it cools down it starts right back up. Any help appreciated

    Thank you everyone for your input but none of you were correct. One of my buddies was working on my truck and it was low voltage to the fuel pump. Guess I otta check the odvious stuff out first next time

    Forgot to mention that it typically only does it at higher rpms. Don't have a tach but would guess around 3500-4000 and I'll wire my choke open tomorrow and see if that helps

    So I bought a engine out of a 89, throttle body, and I put my heads and intake, off of a 74, carberated on it. I had to put in a electric inline fuel pump. It runs awesome up until my secondaries open up then it falls on its face. If I keep it wide open it will start lurching. Thanks for advice...

    yeah my carb is similar to that one and choke is hooked up and is open when warm. Forgot to check if the choke was shut when it was cold.

    So after my truck gets warm and I drive it a while, I shut it off and it tries to continue running. I know it has to do with the timing but not sure if I need to advance or retard the timing.

    Right now I'm running a 2.5" with a thrush turbo style muffler. One of my friends has a 4" he said he'd give me, but it wasn't on a old truck. I know it won't have as much back pressure but how much will that affect my power?

    Longer shocks on the rear of my 2wd

    I had a friend give me some shocks for the rest of my truck. They are quite a bit longer then the stock ones I have right now. What will the result be if I put the longer ones on?

    I've never done a 454 swap but I have heard that everything should fit right in and line up the same.
