Thanks for the info. I think I am going to leave it like it is. I am not going to be towing with it. I am making a daily driver. Heres the truck. I have had it for 13 years, 10 of witch it sit in my back yard. I got the rebuild done on the vortec 350 now I need to finish the 4l60e , New...

4l60e and a 307 gear.

OK heres what I am doing. I got a 350 vortec out of a 99 tahoo and its going in my 77 2wd c10. I am putting the 4l60e in and was wanting to know if the stock 307 rear end is going to act with the over drive. Do I need to go with something bigger'?
