srw to drw
Are spacers needed to clear the tire from rubbing on the frame when converting a srw to a dually? I was thinking the rear axle will be narrower for a srw truck. I know a hub spacer for the front is needed to run the dually rim. Anyone know any of this for sure?- Konas new ride

It seems to me to be loud. but it has oil.. 75000 miles on it.. maybe its just the speed it spins with the short tires and tall gears.. 456 and a 235/85/16- Konas new ride

Ohh.. I have dynamat and that glue on insulation stuff just waiting to go in my truck once i make sure i don't need to cut and weld on the body (I need to do cab corners and rocker panels)... Hey now be nice.. I grew up in Texas.. The PO left the fan shroud in place.. its all shattered.. I took it out.. But up here you don't worry about over heating lol.. more worry about freezing your man parts off..- Konas new ride

hockey puck body lift??
Well.. as for them splitting.. maybe the new ones do.. Seems my truck has a 1 inch hockey puck body lift on the whole truck.. Would i do it.. NOPE.. But i'm picky.. These have been in there for over 20 years.. Keeping in mind.. you NEED to move your fan shroud.. mine is broken due to this stunt...- Konas new ride

This is making my brain hurt..
I did look under the back.. I know there is some kind of mess under there. Looks like someone hacked off a bunch of wires to a trailer plug. I will sort this out soon also.. As i am looking for a hitch for the ole girl.. when i find one i will wire in properly for a plug.- Konas new ride

This one will be soon back to all original. I don't just remove the junk wire. I remove the wire that was tapped into and replace it with a wire of the same color and length. I use the factory hard wear at the ends. Then it's clean. Back in the factory clips and plugs. I think i have the...- Konas new ride

Running speaker wire to the rear single cab speakers
If your going to the hassle of running new wire.. installing a good set up.. don't use normal wire for your speakers, Use speaker wire. Solder and heat shrink the connections also.. 50 feet of decent speaker wire cost me 12 bucks.- Konas new ride
