Can I remove my charcoal canister and what do the lines lead to?
all the smog and egr and whate1973ver emissions there where are taken off
would it hurt anything or can I just remove it

What would be the biggest ture I could squeeze on an 8 inch rally wheel and in my rear fender im thinking radial ta's and I was looking at a 295 or 305 I cant recall 50r15
could I go bigger. And I was thinking 235/70r15 which is one size wider than the stock ones now

Something plugs in to that part pictured above under the dash and the same colored wiring goes to something on the side of the tranny. I will actually track it down when the weather gets below 105 here in Texas
So theres nothing on the carb just wiring that goes from pedal to tranny

So is my truck rare with a factory 454
what do I need to buy to get the kickdown to work properly or do I even need a kickdown its a daily driver for my 16 year old son and its fast now I dont wanna know what it will be like when it downshifts
In 1973 the 454 was most definitely an option I have to original receipt and it was purchased in april of 73 with the 454 cid option so no niether the engine nor tranny where swapped in
it has a stock th400 and 454 well I mean it came in the truck in 73 the engines fairly stock but getting back...
The contraption is out of a 1973 gmc c1500 with a 454 and it goes on the pedal bracket or it is the pedal bracket. In lmc its says its on a 74 thru 89 but mines a 73 idk if its some sort of a cruise or kickdown or even a governor. Lmc dosent say nor sell it but it has a picture. Thanks for viewing
Hi guys I got a little problem the other day I was driving and my throttle suddenly stuck so I turned it off and went and checked under the hood and I found out the cable was freyed and got stuck in the firewall. Anyway im looking for a new cable and lmc didn't have one for my 73 c1500 454...
I just tightened up everything and checked the nipple on the terminal and it was all good. And its still happening. Im kinda embarrassed to say this but I dont know how to check the charging system or ignition switch. Its had a new starter solenoid and ignition switch in the distributor...

and wait for it but a stock single outlet exhaust yes yes I know. (Let that thing roar)
but anyway I want to upgrade to true dual exhaust with headers
I want it to be loud but sound good but not as loud as a glasspack...
