This is good to know...I'm having the same problem with the drivers' side tank but haven't had the time to pull it down and looky. I have a feeling that its a broken wire or a bad ground or something of the sort...at least I hope.
I picked one up off the net and it'll be here Wednesday. I'm not sure its the right one so if nobody picks this up off of you I'll probably take it next weekend.
FWIW,
I was at Auto Zone today and they sell door bushings in a 4 pack. They were sold out. The kicker; they cost over 6 bucks for a package! The PEX is soooo much better of an idea and one 2 dollar tube will outlast your truck. I laughed when I seen it. Thanks for the tip here!
A lot of 'em don't. A lot of times I bring parts with me to show them what I need instead of arbitrarily grabbing ****.
I also agree with the other fellas...probably got the 2wd stuff instead of 4x4 is that's whatcha got.
Thanks guys. Yeah the dude was all right but he obviously had someone else do the work....thank god.
I've not had a problem...it would be nice to have OD but as far as I'm concerned she's ok as it sits. I don't/won't be driving it much since I'm one of the lucky ones that has a work truck to...
Did this on my truck today. What an awesome idea. I bought the 5' piece and will set it aside as the old ones wear out I can just make new ones. Not a bad repair for a couple of bucks and 10 minutes of "work". Thank you
I wish there was a conversion that could be done just to compensate the speedo and be done with it....my speedo is 10mph off from the tires and just watch that and the GPS. it is a pain in the ass tho
