I had a seal blow in my steering gearbox
And being that I knew the box ran out of fluid twice I just replaced it
After all is said and done i can barely turn
The wheel. I need some help ( 87 Sierra v1500 with powersteering)
I like bass but being a regular cab I have to take it a lil easy I've never really done a resto so I'm looking for cool place to hide speakers and components n what not.
yeah i seem to have blown a seal, probably the seal was going bad when the hose went out and now that the hose is fixed its finished going out, instead of just replacing the seal im probably going to replace the whole box do you agree
ahh i see where you were going with that now, i prefer the do it yourself plug and play kinda stuff, im the typical weekender who likes to feel like hes accomplished something on his time off by accurately reading instructions lol:smoke2:
Anyone have any ideas why my 87 won't idle and shuts off when turning .
It first had this trouble about a month ago. I had a busted power steering hose so I got that fixed and changed plugs and plug wires and cap. Now the whine is back and the truck doesn't want to idle on hot or cold start ups...
so its 4x10s and 3.5 under the dash pad, are there any other locations anyone has found to add speakers or tweeters, I thought about putting 2 10s or 12s behind the seat but that's as far as my imagination has wandered
im looking to update the stereo in my 87, I already have the pioneer deck, ive found the 6x9s behind the seat I was told there was another seat of speakers in the dash but I don't remember the sizes
