If it has speakers in the corners of the dash they're 3 1/2"

so its 4x10s and 3.5 under the dash pad, are there any other locations anyone has found to add speakers or tweeters, I thought about putting 2 10s or 12s behind the seat but that's as far as my imagination has wandered

Youre basically looking at doing the same thing as me, the only differences is that i have 6x9's in the back corners, and i have to make kick panel speakers cause my truck came factory with only 1 speaker. And i also want to run 2 12" subs behind the seat.

when i get the money to redo mine i plan on putting tweets up in the dash corners aimed on axis and putting speakers in the kicks. honestly you sound like a simple set up would be sufficient. if i were you id replace the stock ones with new coaxials and put a sub or two behind the seat. unless of course youre looking for something a little more high quality

Do you have a particular budget? That would help narrow down your options

I don't really have a particular budget. But I also don't want to use junk. I want to do it right the first time so I don't have to do it again

Well 200-300 dollars is way different from 2000-3000. Are you willing to make custom enclosures and make crossovers? Or would you prefer plug and play things like prefab enclosures and coaxial speakers?

Ok haha, well where are you willing to put speakers? Just in the stock locations? And are you looking for sound quality or loudness? .... And bass?

I like bass but being a regular cab I have to take it a lil easy I've never really done a resto so I'm looking for cool place to hide speakers and components n what not.

I would just get some high quality speakers for the stock locations and then a sub or 2 behind the seat. You can get pretty good sound without going all out.
