    what made me come in and post this is, I got pulled over two nights ago on the way to work. Headlight burned out. I changed it today, halogen on one side, sealed beam on the other. Thats how tight he could be. no since and spending the extra money to make the headlights match when one still works.

    truck will not start

    If your referring to the fusible link wires then no, only replace with another fusible link wire of the same value. Before you go to fire it up after doing this, look for what caused the problem. I'm guessing its your wires down by the starter, very common, most times get up against the exhaust.

    well I got pulled over on the way into 3rd shift last night. I had a drivers headlight out, so I installed a new halogen in the 79 today. Started to work on the license plate light but they fell apart, tomorrow.
