Wheel restoration

Anybody know of a good wheel restoration shop? I'm not having any luck finding somebody with a lathe that can go deep enough to cut the face of my 15x10 Western Cyclone wheels. Somewhere in GA is preferred, but I can ship them if need be. Looking for a place to check for cracks/warping, repair as needed, get out all the curb rash, scuffs and such, and old casting slag, and either machine finish or polish the face and powdercoat the rest. Want them to look better than new when done. Thanks

I bought a set of wheels on Ebay and once they showed up were not in usable condition. I then located "Jason's Wheel Repair" in Chino CA 909 591-1220 who was able to bore the damaged lug areas and insert tapered inserts. He then cleaned, powdercoated them grey and did a brush finish on the exposed aluminum areas. I initially wanted what you want except he explained that the casting is porous and when he tries to turn or machine it, you will end up with little divots in the front. I know if you do internet searches, they show them machining the wheels, he advised against it even though he has the ability to do it.

After the initial Ebay purchase, freight, then freight back and forth to his shop and the repair, this isn't for everybody but it nailed the look I was looking for. New current aftermarket wheels will be substantially less expensive. I didn't find a similar business in Phoenix. Most of them paint the wheels to make them look like a machined surface, I know because I had somebody sneak one of them in on me on a car I bought.

The lesson I learned in this situation was if I purchased the best set of wheels I could find first, it would have allowed me too do what I wanted. If your wheels are curbed and gouged, I would sell them and look for a better set. Mine were not curbed, only the bolt holes elongated from them driving with them loose

Those turned out amazing, and I'd be happy to have something exactly like that on my truck. Unfortunately, finding a set of these in 15x10 AND 6 lug is not exactly easy. This is the best set I've been able to put together, and I've bought several sets to make it. I don't even want to think how much I have in them so far, so I'm willing to pay what it costs to get them done. I will reach out to him and see if he can make mine look like yours. What did it cost, if you don't mind me asking? And are yours 15x10?

Those were 15x8 or 8.5. Again, his price was ok, it's the freight that screws it up. He will need detailed pics or the wheels shipped to him to give the full estimate.
I honestly do not remember what the wheels were individually, it was 2-3 years ago I will look for the receipt.

Those look really nice on the truck. If yours were 8.5 wide, I have a feeling he's going to tell me the same thing everyone else has so far, they're too wide to work on. But I sent him an email, so we shall see. Fingers crossed.

There's a place in Marietta that repairs rims. I'll try to find the info. I'm told they do great work.
