This is gonna make me look dumb but, how do you wire this socket in? I grounded one wire and put the other one on pos side of battery and nothing.

Looks like a dual filament bulb? If so, the socket body is self grounding. One wire for dim filament, one wire for bright filament.

Did you try it both ways? Also what lamp is this? It most likely needs to be grounded to the body.

I bought a pack of them to put in my interior under the dash as foot well lights. Or anywhere else I might need some light. Thought maybe bolt to the underside of the hood incase I needed some light at night.

The housing/bulb holder is what grounds, the 2 wires are the power.
Either a jumper like a Christmas light or dual filament.

I repainted the old Edlebrock valve covers that i got for free the other day, came out pretty decent. Not perfect, but good enough.

Since spring projects in the yard kept me out of the garage not much in the past few weeks. But did get to finish bleeding brakes after prop. valve replacement, got radiator and shroud reinstalled( pulled to access prop valve). put roller wheels on, need to finish fuel system. have had the new lines run for the most part just not fully landed to final destination. put new wire looming on all wires under the hood.

I went by yesterday and emptied the Dry-Z-Air. Sat in the seat and let out a massive sigh. Almost two years on the new tags and not a single revolution of anything. Patted her on the dash, mumbled some apologies about being swamped with other stuff, and wiped a tear from an eye.

I so need this to be the year..... here's the view from the last time a couple weeks ago
