I liked the idea of a pliers rack that @Skidmark97 installed a few posts back so I did something similar. I thought this style might hold the various sized handles more easily and they do a good job of it. What previously took up three drawers now fits in two with room to spare. These are called Plier Pro by Ernst.

Only negative was I had to move these from another drawer to this one, which took some time.

That bottom drawer with the allen wrenchs ain't gonna look that way after you open and shut it once or twice, unless you glued 'em down!!

Nah, that drawer liner keeps 'em in place as long as I'm paying attention and don't slam it.

This won't work for pliers but I just tighten the jaws on my various vice grips and clamp them all on 1 service cart.That I keep other odd ball stuff, like my brake depressive, hood prop rod etc. on.

@idahovette never in a hurry? When I was working at the GM dealership my nick name was speedy, if the car had to be done on a deadline I got it. All my crap just ended up in the service cart till the end of the day or the next A.M.

@bucket I feel your pain no matter where you work there's always at least it 1 guy that won't pony up to have a well stocked box. It use to piss me off, so your taking bread out of my mouth and want to use my tools to do it.

Wow, never in a hurry, huh? Also I have too many "helpers" going thru my tools!

When I was at the shop, co-workers were constantly borrowing my tools. They all would just yank the drawers open and then slam them closed. Every. Single. Time. No matter how much I yelled at them. I don't miss that at all, lol.

Skysurfer, I like that pliers rack or holder you have maybe better then my wire racks. I like the fact they do hold everything perfectly in line and I am going to get some and try them out so thanks for posting it and keep the ideas coming . I wish my things were that organised but will work on it

Finally got myself an inverter TIG/Stick welder after using my Squarewave 175 the past 20 years. These inverters are sweet!

Picked up a couple of small engine carburetor tools. I seem to end up working on a bunch of two-strokes with Walbros and four-stroke Tecumsehs on lawnmowers and snowblowers, so for about ten bucks each it made sense to have them on hand. Hopefully they make things easier and save some time.

Got a new welder the other day. Lincoln 180HD. I’m planning on building a car hauler trailer and some other projects, so this should come in handy!

@Blue Ox , you take up knitting?......LOL

Looks like it, don't it?

Most of the references I've seen call that end the crochet hook. The hook is for pulling the rubber seat for the float needle out of the carb housing and/or to pull the emulsion tube out of the carb body.

The other end is for installing it, and the flat in the brass part is for setting the float height. I always used a drill bit in the past, but having it all in one place should make life easier.
