I did the gratuitous search and only found one dealing with smog pump. Unfortunately it didn't give an ending and was from 2013. I have an '87 K5 350 tbi and want to convert to serpentine w a smog pump and use the Harrison style a/c compressor. Is there already a thread on this that I didn't find or does anyone have any suggestions. Thank you

The aluminum style serpentine brackets have provisions to mount a smog pump. If you need any of the matching smog pump parts, I should have them in a box somewhere.

Bucket, thank you. I currently have the pancake style, I think R4, but would like to go to the 96+ style.

The 96-98 limits you on valve cover options which in turn dosent allow for roller rockers etc in case you were planning engine work down the line. I reccomend the 93-95 serpentine setup

87_stepper, thank you for that info. Sorry it has taken so long to get back. Does the 93-95 setup use the small a/c compressor (not pancake style) and have the ability to run a smog pump. My concerns are keeping this Blazer able to pass smog in any state.

If I'm remembering right, @yevgenievich is running a Sanden type compressor in place of the R4, on the aluminum style serpentine brackets that also have a smog pump provision.
