Odd fuel gauge occurence

So i just noticed with the truck runnin i put the heater blower on high and the gas guage drops right to E. A second or two it rises to normal. Anybody have an idea?

Clean and inspect all the grounds, especially the ones near the battery on the core support. Also check the ground from the engine to the firewall. Anytime you have screwy electrical problems, the grounds are the first suspect.

Goldie gets grumpy in cold weather and the gas gauge will fall to empty as well as the left side speedo light going out.

Once the heater gets things warmed up they both come back to life, so I assume it is a plastic contraction issue.

Maybe the same for your rig ?:think:
