L59 swapping into 86 K5. Crossmember?

Would an ORD cross member not be a big benefit in this swap, and theyre motor mount adapter plates. The plates put the motor in the same exact place as stock.

For a 4x4 yes, I would prioritize keeping the bellhousing in the same location as a Gen 1. That way i wouldn't have to make 2 new driveshafts.

The universal 1" setbacks do that, but crash the oil pain into the crossmember, which is why ORD and PAC Fab and others offer a crossmember.

You can get around it by notching the crossmember, dropping the t-case, or lifting the engine as well.

There's many ways to skin this cat.

You are right.

Budget, and what you are building toward.

The only one that I personally would avoid is dropping the transfer case. In my area that would be bad.

But then again I run a weak 208.
