K10 1 inch lift, best route?

Bought an 87 V10, K10 whatever.

Springs look to be decent, I want to throw some 32’s on it and lift the front 1 inch and the rear 1.5 inch. Has new 4 shocks on the front and I’d imagine 1 inch won’t need to change them. Dont mind changing the rear shocks.

I see some cheap shackle kits on ebay for rear of front leaf. Would these be obvious? Want to keep it looking close to stock as possible.


Thoughts?

You already have the longer shackles up front.
Zero-rate all the way...

I dont think the longer shackles came till 88 on blazers, burbs, and 1 tons. But the zero rates bolt to the pack, and are a great product, you wont be disappointed.

If you order the ORD shackles, I believe they will raise you an additional 1/4 inch. But they are beef. If you really get into building it, ORD will become your go to. I know its mine.

I kid you not- ORD is the homepage on every internet connected device in my house. Gotta stay motivated.

I really dont want to ‘build’ this truck. Just a light restoration as it was pretty well preserved so just gonna paint and fix tidbits on it.

Want to throw some 32x11.50s on the stock ralleys though.

What do the 88+ shackles lift the front? Don’t want the 32s looking stuffed.

ORD says they are 1/2" longer than 87 and older stock shackles, and raise the front of the truck 1/4".

Oh don't worry Joe, you're not going to build it... we are! We'll tell you what to buy and how to do it and all... gotcha covered sir! I just decided for you to replace your sm with a bb... must get the power issues resolved asap.

Longer but not anymore beef. The ORD shackle is the only way.


And just to clarify for the OP, Joe T....

The longer front shackle will allow an aftermarket lifted spring to have some compression travel. The short shackle would just swing back and nail the frame. No beno...

But in your case it will give a slight lift and to a certain point (not much) the truck will steer a little nicer with the extra castor. And it's strong like bull and you can get it with greaseable bolts so a few benefits waiting.

You are great for a laugh. But I agree. I decided he needed coilovers, need more flex for those bigger tires.
