My truck didnt have the v22 rpo code. It came factory with round headlights.

So this was option? I never knew this but it settles the discrepancies I've butted my head against.
So the new young guy is already teaching an old **** something...?

Yep the last year of the round headlights. I love the roundeyes. I want a 73-75 K5 next. I'm sure you'll get me back on something haha. The two things I know most about in this world are Squarebodies and Chevelles.

This makes me curious as ive seen a few round eyes with those bezels but no rpo on the spid... one just last weekend at the junk yard i pulled parts from.

If its a 80 and doesnt have rpo v22 it came factory with round. 80 Rpo V22-square. Anything after is square.

Lol, I was just wondering. When people say Chevelle, they are usually only thinking of '64-'72. Later years are the "other" ones.

Hey man, I have a 1986 GMC with a 454 big block. The truck hasn’t been running for a long time and I’m finally starting to work on it again.

In your opinion, what are the most important things I should replace first before trying to run it?

Also, could you recommend some good places or websites to buy parts that have decent prices for squarebody trucks and 454 parts?
