Let's do a thread about different setups of driving/fog/aux lights. I want to get some new ideas.

This is how mine sits now. The orange fogs came with the truck, and as far as I can tell they are original era. I pulled the top lights from a fire alarm because they were free and matched my push bar. I'll upgrade them to something brighter soon.

I definitely decided I like round fogs on roundeye trucks, so I'm thinking of doing a row of three on the bottom bar, and then two on the top. We'll see...

Here's a few set ups of trucks I've had over the years.

I only have 1.... its a square LED mounted to my hitch and tapped into my reverse lights for a brighter back up light. Wanted to put a 22" led bar between my bumper thingys up front but wouldnt fit.

Mine has the old KC Daylighter style. I have some LED's that I picked up, but prefer the proper period style since they are mostly just for looks. I want to add a set to the rollbar too.

Junkman, that's one of the coolest push bars I've ever seen. I assume it's a custom fab? Those lights are a perfect fit in it

I used to have a set of KC daylighters on a push bar, but I decided I liked the clean look of no push bar better for my truck. Plus fog lights are more useful for me. The bottom pic is a set of newer IPF lights. The first one is current, a set of cibie iode 35’s. They seem to be a more effective light. I would like to find a set of covers for them. They are mounted on an aluminum bracket that my dad and I bent up so I wouldn’t have to drill holes in my bumper. I’ll get some better pics tomorrow.

Lol thank you. That top pic is a mock up of the bed rails I picked up. I can’t quite decide if I like them on there or not.
Imho id say no lol i like the wide factory steel wheels you have on it though, also a big fan of the hubcaps.

Thank you for your input lol, I don’t think I like them either. It came with wide wheels originally, but dad sold them when he put big tires on. Finding another set was difficult, but worth the effort I think.

Definately a rare sight with wide steels. I think ive only seen 1 that age in person with them. Yea im not really a fan of those rails but i am actually looking for a diamond plate cover set for a square but apparently thats like finding a unicorn. I have them from my 90' nbs but they fit different.

My front bumper is a bit messed up from the previous owner but have been thinking about making my own version of this:

It would be kinda hard to cut a clean hole in it then put some sort of grommet around it for the lights to shine thru. And then would probably have to weld a tab onto the bumper for a light mounting point.

My brother in law gave me some small round PIAA lights.

Thought those would be neat shining thru the bumper and somewhat protected. I've had lights mounted on top of the bumper but seemed like someone was always knocking them around in parking lots.

I’ve always liked that way of mounting lights. It’s a very clean look.

I have no idea where it came from, it was on the truck when I bought it.

When I was thinking of how I would build a stepside before I got this one, I was thinking of a pre-runner look for the bumpers, kind of like the truck above, but now I think I might stick with a stock bumper and this push bar, since it looks like it's been on the truck for a while.
