I am an old gearhead (age 74) living in Sheffield, AL. Name is Tom.

Just finished my 1982 C10 LWB...started out as a ruff farm truck.
3 1/2" front drop with 2.5" drop spindles and 1" drop coil; rear drop 4" with hangers
and shackles. Rides nice. All new suspension, brakes, crate 350 and rebuilt TH350.

You might like my vanity tag....hahaha

Is that the baffle of an exhaust cutout right behind the front wheel?

The way you have your exhaust done reminds me of the old school style for the lowriders. Don't see that much on trucks :) I like the uniqueness.

Old77 you're not old enough! These were common on most of the rides back in the day(early to mid 60's) around here. We called em dumps, easy to unbolt , open em up and terrorize the town ,then close them and act like nothing happened when the cops showed up!!

I was talking about even the tailpipes in back how their are at each edge of the rear "quarter panel" so to speak. You're right, I wasn't alive in the 60's (born in '77) but I've seen plenty of pics from back then and movies to know I'd seen the trends. :)

Yep, well I was around then. haha The rear exhaust is called a Bellflower tip (named after Bellflower, CA) where I cruised the strip a lot. Usually seen on long, low cruisers...Impala, Rivieras, etc. But I wanted a different look. The dumps were on every car in my era.
