I have found that my hydroboost unit is leaking from a rear seal and dripping into the cab.

I looked under the floor mat and I think this has been going on for awhile looking at the carpet.

Is this unit rebuild-able? It is working there is just a small drip of fluid every time I press the brake.

I had that exact same thing happening. I don’t know if they are “self-rebuildable” but rebuilding is available or rebuilt units are also available. You need your brake code to get the proper one. O’Reilly is where I found mine after a fruitless internet search. I don’t recall cost.

Whatever you do, make sure you use power steering fluid in the replacement, not Dexron. Ignore the manual. ATF will make them leak. Ask me how I know.

Dang. I kinda got the same Superstition on my 82 C20 with the 6.2 in it... I check it once n a while, although it's a parts truck engine/trans etc still complete. But Yeah I'm hoping this one isn't bad either... I think it's just a break line blew. I don't care about it anyhow the rear drum is stuck and I already tried to unstick it but gave up... lol It's a 3/4 Ton so.

Hydroboost will leak into the cab when it fails. if it's leaking outside it's something else.
