I'm hoping it won't rub 6 inches in the back 4 in the front. You think they'll rub?
I promise you they will. You can mitigate some of it by moving your front axle forward. Get a Zero Rate from OFD.

You can move your axle forward safely and effectively with this little gem.
You still may need to trim some metal, depends how you use the truck. Any semi-serious wheeling in this trucks future?
Better be prepared for more trimming.
With axle moved forward and possibly even sliding the body back on the mounts (sometimes have about 1"1/4 of adjustment)
will help. The trim the bottom front of the fender opening, hopefully just a few inches will make a difference.
And the last part, your rims you are shopping for.... keep them narrow and 4.5" backspacing at the most. An 8.5 inch rim
width is not too narrow for a 35" tire. Next size up is 10" and this will certainly cause more metal to rubber tears.
Even a 6" lift (providing the springs flex enough, many aftermarket 6" springs are stiff like my dick and won't flex to bottom out)
will still allow fender benders, if you twist it up enough off road.
Sorry don't mean to rain on your parade, just bringing up some issues that just don't go away on their own.
