I buy my gas at the best looking well maintained place cuz I know most gas come right off the same fuel rack as everyone. My bro hauled fuel for years and all the 7-11's, Murphy's, mom and pop places all came out of the same tanks from the same racks. Only difference might be is how much Ethanol was added and Ethanol is added right there where it is loaded into the truck. The mom and pop places are usually the one without Ethanol and all the chains took Ethanol. Conoco/Phillips had their own rack but everyone else came from the same rack my bro hauled fuel for. I believe even Shell came from the same rack, but they had more detegerents added to their fuel at filling up the tanker. And some Shell had Ethanol, and some did not, but Shell does have a detegerent requirement. We don't have Exxon/Mobil around here, thankfully since they all help dick tator Hugo Chavez in South America.

I think Shell is the only company around here that has their own fuel supply. I see Shell tankers all the time, but, never tankers for the other major companies.

Around here I see Quiktrip tankers too but I'm not real sure who their actual supplier is. I just know I've always had really good luck with their gas and never had a bad tank from them.

The same pipeline OKC 7-11's get theirs from, just the pipe goes to MO instead. Murphy's which is wal-marts, require their fuel to be delivered in a truck with Murphy's on it. So if someone has a generic trailer and gets a Murphy's load, then they have to drop the generic trailer and hook up the Murphy's trailer. QT is probobaly the same way, or they have their own haulers, like Love's does.

I only put about 1,000 to 1,500 mi/yr on mine, and I only change it once/year. I used Mobile 1 or Castrol conventional and Purolator or AC-D filter. I'm about due for some VC gaskets when the weather warms up, so I'll soon see if that has been often enough.

You must not drive square very often dhamp. Depending on the year, that's about what I put on my box van. The last couple years its cranked up some miles moving my daughter to and from Abilene, TX when her and husband were stationed at Dyess, AFB. I change it once a year and use Full Synthetic and Mobil 1 filter. I'd leave it for 10K but I never get that many miles on it.

I usually try to change my oil around every 3,000 miles. That's about every 3-4 months for me.

I think I get about 10 mpg but I have a little problem with staying out of the throttle when I drive it! :)

I think I'm getting around the 13-14 mpg mark. However, I'm do for plugs, wires, air filter, etc. If I tune it up an be easy on the pedal, I think I could get around 16 or 17mpgs.
