Lowering a 1984 silverado

4/6 No notch. replaced the heavy spring packs for stock half ton springs, had to move the rear brackets to the forward holes in frame. 20x8 245/40/20 and 20x10 305/50/20 Nitto drag radials

Not sure what the limit is, but this is how mine sits. I don't have a notched frame

How much do you lowered and what you did to it to lowering like that . If possible parts you bought it and links, i like like that and i dont want to do a catch to it.

4-5" if you plan on using it as a truck.
6" flip if you don't plan on carrying much weight. Otherwise you'll have to notch to tow/haul more than a few hundred pounds.

Im not planing to use as truck, more like a weekend's ride but also i dont want to lowered a lot because its a long bed. I want more or less for the tires to be even with the fender or like a finger space front and rear.

AJ, I think your truck looks great the way it sits now IMHO

We did just the axle flip in the rear and no notch is needed and it rides perfectly fine. A little truck like even.
Front we did 3" spindles and 2" springs. This was a little low for in the front so 1.5" springs were put in to level it out.

For me because its long ved i wabt to go i bit higher than yours?

When time comes, I'm thinking spindles and shackles for the c20 because I still want to do truck stuff with it. It's a ¾ ton after all...
