Hello everyone. I encountered an issue this morning. I was checking my taillights, turn and hazard signals, and found my right turn in the back blink differently than the left, and is more dim, which I'm guessing is a ground issue. The weird part is, when I checked my hazards, only the back alternate when they flash, like a police car. Where would I start looking for the problem? I have a new turn signal switch I need to get in, as I was told previously this could be part of the problem. Everything in the front does what it should, and how it should. Never had the alternating before. I have a video but it says the file is too large to upload. I'll try it from my phone.

Th3re is an instrument panel ground up under the dash, and each light housing has a ground. Clean them up (sand ground point to bare metal) and tighten, and I think you will solve the problem.

Another simple item to check is that all the dual filament bulbs (tail/turn, etc) are in the socket properly and making good connections. With any old socket and a little corrosion you can sometimes get the bulb in with the wrong orientation, or it might only have a good connection to one of the nubs on the bulb. There is also a spray product called DeOxIt that will take most corrosion off the socket and bulb base.

I noticed before when I looked under!behind the cluster, there's a set of what look like grounds but there's nothing hooked to them. Are they for extra accessories?

If you are talking about the prongs on the ground bus bar- Yes

i would be looking at the socket and bulb first. Then the turn signal switch.

I pulled the whole unit out, pried the contacts up and put in an old bulb and it seems to have fixed the issue. The new bulb would keep making contact.
Thanks to all of your help and suggestions
