Old77’s GMT400 SWB 4x4 5-speed project/DD

I used them for the corner lenses AND the park/turn lamps. I used 3 to 2 wire adapters called Blinker Genie 2 in order to make it all work since those park/turn lamp sockets are 3 wire units (ground/blink/constant)

Fitting a patch to shave the tailgate handle. Hitting the body work hard on this thing this winter so I can paint it this Spring. Starting at the rear of the truck and moving forward.

No, this is good for the dually. I'm using this as more practice so that the paint on the dually turns out better! This truck's paint job is a practice piece leading up to that! Believe me, painting the dually is forever at the front of my brain!!

Haha true, good plan! I'm not sure which of my trucks I should practice on first, I don't want either one to let me down lol

Honestly, I'd practice on the dually first. White paint is so easy. With the light gold color, you gotta worry about tiger stripes and mottling.

Haha true, good plan! I'm not sure which of my trucks I should practice on first, I don't want either one to let me down lol

At least yours are all one color. This 92 is like 4 colors and the dually has an aftermarket front clip so is a few different whites and primer Like I was telling @bluex on the GMT400 forum, for convenience I may end up painting the dually at my house 1/2 at a time. I know people say the paint may not match that way especially if you paint them on different days with different weather conditions but it'd be so much more convenient LOL

I'm not painting it "light gold"/pewter. I'm painting this truck that forest green that was popular back in the 90's on these trucks.
