Started getting everything taken off to pull my motor for rebuild. Haven’t ever noticed this until now. The metal tubing on one of the power steering lines is resting against the manifold. In my mind this can’t be right. Especially knowing how hot a manifold can get. Definitely a replacement at one time with the part number tag being on it. Is this the correct line or some trick to putting it back on and it not touch. Planning on putting new lines when the motor goes back in. Truck is a 1980 C20 with a 454 and standard transmission from a 1973 camper special
ETA: didn’t think about this until after I hit the post button. I did take the tension off the belt. Which has it going more towards the manifold. So I’ll check this evening and see what it looks like if it is in its normal position with tension. It’s the last thing I believe I need to take off.
