Some newer aftermarket slider windows use a seal for a glass window the style that is in mine was supposed to use the slider specific seal, but someone jammed it in the glass seal.I thought the standard seals that you rope in were not for sliding windows, which the OP has.
But idk I’m not a window gasket expert.
Did you get the lock strip kit? That seal requires it.Here is the gasket I ordered. Hoping I ordered the correct one
I did not. Can anyone tell me if this one requires the trim? Id rather not use the trimDid you get the lock strip kit? That seal requires it.
Thank youThis will work without the lock strip.
That is the seal I tried to rope in on my truck, and I ended up damaging it. The rope gets so tight in the last 90° curve you end up tearing the seal. This wasn't the first seal I have roped in but it was definitely the hardest. I wouldn't recommend itThank you
It’s a windshield gasket. You were asking about back window. I’m confused.I did not. Can anyone tell me if this one requires the trim? Id rather not use the trim
