Help identifying these two things

Removed the OEM radio awhile back, project been on back burner. I don’t think I unplugged this connector with the purple/pink wires. What does this plug go to?

Also, the black box behind it with the large plug at the bottom- what is it?

Kinda looks like the dingle that attaches to the brake light switch.

I've got my suspicion as to the unidentified plug but wanted to verify on the correct wiring harness,but IDK which one that would be

I thought I was seeing a pink and a purple I got 10 minutes into scrolling through wiring diaghrams looking for that,and got distracted @Jgonick is our expert with wiring diaghrams I'm good with them,he makes me look stupid. I had to laugh,there was a shop that used to pay me to come find a fix on their electrical head scratcher problems. They were part of the change parts till it works crowd, then when it didn't I'd come troubleshoot for them(just electrical) and the boss would always be,oh that's the guy that always wants a wiring dighram. Lol.

I've been up 24 hours. I'm not going to feel like diving into wiring diaghrams for several hours. I hope you find it,I'm freaking to tired.

Yes it does- the colors are what has thrown me.

Yep. Purple and pink w/black stripe. I’ll try to get under there with a flashlight and see if I see any else that might help.

But if the other box is def cruise control only, I can remove it when I carb swap cause ECM won’t be controlling throttle anymore. (It’s a prefect spot to mount the new RedArc brake controller box)
