1991 Suburban - Unidentified under dash connections

Hello all,

While looking for something else, I came across a couple of connections under the dash of my 1991 Suburban (Silverado) that I'd like to identify. Curious if these connect to some sort of factory option or are completely unused.

This first one has a gray, pink, and some other wire (can't see the color). Looks like a 2x4 connector.

The second has a purple/white and white wire connected with a resistor. Any idea what this is for?

That first connector might be for the optional power mirrors?

Bottom one appears to be a clamping diode.

Thanks for the suggestion, but given the power mirrors do work, I'm not sure this connector is related.
