Motor mounts

Hello I am new here, so I have a 76 k10 that had a 6.2l in it when I got it that was blown up not sure on the year. I have an 86 350 I am going to put in the truck but I noticed the frame perches on the truck are not level. The 6.2 seemed to sit in the truck level but before I put the 350 in I wanted to make sure this is right since the mounts on the motor side are level and not on the perches. Also does anyone know a correct part number for the through bolts I bought ARP 130-3105 and they are too short to fit through the clamshells. Thanks for any help!

Looks correct to me, just needs the clamshell motor mounts to bolt on the frame. Sorry I don't remember what bolts you need but you can probably just get a grade 8 bolt at a hardware store, no real need for ARP in the motor mounts.

I thought you could bolt SBC down on diesel mounts,clamshells and bolts. Anyone,anyone,Bueller?

I know to go from my 250 I6 to SBC all I needed was the engine side brackets

Thank you I will give it a shot I just figured the uneven perches would make the engine sit crooked since they are a half inch off. The grade 8 bolts are my next option I just found it weird I couldn’t find the correct bolts from arp or any other brand kit. The clamshells and bolts are all the same as the 6.2 but I couldn’t reuse any as they were too far gone and I didn’t measure before throwing away as far as the through bolts.

LOL... Lesson #1, never throw anything away until the project is done.

Welcome from Austria. I used 1" 3/8 16 grade 8 bolts with metal self locking nuts on my C20.

lol and toss those old bolts in a bucket or bin.
