Anyone using the Trico classic stainless wiper blades? I didn't know that they still made the old school blades like them.

you can use original blades and put new inserts on them
Can't remember the last time I saw a set of inserts, do they still make them?

But seriously that was the most cost effective way to replace wipers, provided the arms had enough spring left in them. Buying arms every single time just to replace the wipers have always, in my mind, been waaaay too overly wasteful.

new inserts? pretty sure @bucket says he buys new ones. PIAA sells inserts for their traditional frame wipers, id imagine they would work if they are the same "rubber plus 2 spring steel strips" where you crimp one end

Yes I am, I like the way they look and they work pretty good, would probably do better if my windshield was in better shape, it’s a little sandblasted. I wish they would make them a little longer.

Oh yeah that reminds me I probably need another pair. Lol

A couple times in the past I have bought new wipers just to steal the blades from. I haven't seen inserts for sale in a coon's age.

What size are those? I didn't think they were available in 16" or 18".

They are the 15" but they actually measure about 15 1/2, so it's not really that noticeable.

O'Reilly stocks all but 16" and 18". Amazon and Rock Auto both have those sizes. I'd expect O'Reilly could order those two sizes.
