This is the area on the fender. The bumper straightened out no problem.

I wondered how much of a difference it would make. The 110 is rated for up to 1/8" thick. The 240 is rated for up to 3/8" thick. The 110 is $10 more than the 240. lol

Only complaints I have heard is the rods are short - but longer ones can be fabbed (many do it). And, the power cords are too short.....like 6ft max?

More overhead generally isn’t a bad thing, especially with basically no cost difference. As long as you have the power available. For the same output potential, double the voltage half’s the input amps.

That increased overhead also should provide a much greater duty cycle.

But for your fender, should be able to with the marker light removed get a heel dolly in there and work it.

@YakkoWarner is yours a 120v or 240v variant?

Mine is the 120 - I didn't realize until after you asked and I looked at the photo again that they even made a 240 version. I expect that would have more kick.....

@Doppleganger I heard through the harbor freight grapevine that they will be doing a 15% off any item coupon this weekend. Might be a good time to snag a spot welder as long as it doesn’t fall under an exclusion for the coupon.

I've been watching for just such a thing, but yeah - you're right, welders are one category they usually exclude. They grift that goofy club they have but I have rarely seen a 'deal' with that that justified their membership fee. Only time I ever did was their top of the line floor jack - bought 2 and that more than covered the club fee. I never used it again and it expired.

Bought a new AMD roof panel fairly cheap. Found a place 40 min from me that had 1 in stock. They price matched Summit then I got a % off my first order. Going to pick it up tomorrow so no freight charges (those alone were almost as much as the panel).

So far so good.

I pay the $35 membership fee. I always get it back, plus a bunch more. I bought a air/hydraulic bottle jack a couple weeks ago and the membership saved $50 iirc.
