A friend of a friend made a body lift with hockey pucks, really didn't want to post this on here out of fear one of our members will try it with oreos or checkers.
That would be a terrible waste of good Oreos. I love Oreos. I might go get some.

I’ve got nothin’ on body lifts, and there’s a fair amount of folks who think I was stupid enough to lower a perfectly usable truck.

That said, I’m old enough to remember the craze of putting cars on 4x4 chassis. I’m hoping that trend stays dead.

Sorry i dont own a phone to load pictures.Put one on my 1985 K20 4x4 350 engine manual tranny i bought new,the motor will over heat when it is ideling.you have to take off or extend the bottom shroud of the radiator,i extended mine and it did not help.you cannot lower the radiator on that model year.I added strips of vinyl to the front bumper and back bumper to hide the gap.the side view blends in ok if you keep it clean and painted black. The reason mine is in the barn now because it is summer and it will get run hot when i come home just driving to the bard about 300yds where i keep it.i am in the process of changing the radiator to a heavy duty racing one and adding boster fans to keep it cool.

Never had over heating at all. Lived in Pennsylvania then though. ORD in Colorado has leaf spring bracket flips and extended brackets. And A 1 inch body lift. Dont know anything about that route, but may work with the add a leafs to get what you are looking for.

Would have to dig around to find my old 80 K5 that had a 3" body and 4" suspension lift. They do look a little funky with the front bumper valance panel being above the bumper, big gap above the rear bumper and tailgate (roll pan fills in the space nicely though lol), fuel filler neck needs a bit of help, radiator shroud needs to be modified, shifter linkages need to be adjusted and steering column needs some tweaking as well. IMHO, don't do it because it looks like ass. Personally I'd say to just go with a 6" or higher suspension lift, or 3/4 ton springs and be done with it.
