Drove her to work !

Trying to decide if the pull to the right might be brake related as I think the calipers are a bit sticky.

Just the way they felt when we C Clamped 'em back in while doing the pads.

Well, I really screwed up. Put in roller lifters on a solid lifter cam. This is #8 exhaust lobe

And here's #8 Intake lobe (in my previous post, this is the one with the lifter that was turned sideways)

The rest of the lobes are pretty ok but I'm pretty depressed. I was trying to make life easier on her and I've done some bad damage....le sigh.

Major change to the 85 today. After 28 years it was time to take the running boards off. My dad put them on when he first got the truck so my grandmother could get in and out easier. They had been on so long I almost didn’t notice them any more. Lots of dirt in my face and a lot of broken bolts but it was worth the effort.

Put in new plugs. It’s to ******* hot out, or I’m getting old. No it’s hot. 84 degrees and this black sum bitch just sucks in the heat. Body lift for the win though. I don’t have to crawl up in under the hood. And now ole Willy fires right up.

believe thats the start of a big block swap.
Might be a good idea. That’s your second valve train incident is it? It appears to be getting uglier each time.
