Mine have been pretty much FREE cuz of the way I bought them, then sold other parts that came with them. Once I bought a frame, chassis and bed only for $100. No cab, front clip or drivetrain. Sold the rear end for $100, so the 2/4 drop kit for a $100, kept all the new Moog front suspension parts, Kept the bumper and used it on the K1500 I think it was, kept the bed of course, and scraped the left overs for about $45. So I made profit and got the bed, all new tie rod ends, idler and pitman arms etc. Oh and a fuel tank and brackets too I kept. That is the blue bed pictured on my blue 84C20. Tailgate was great too. :grd:

Is the ear that is broken off still there? If so, have it tack welded back on. It's a cast iron case. If not, it'll depend how much hp/tq you're putting on it. And which side is it? Driver side needs more strength in most cases, but, I'd run the thing. With the other 3 bolts, and the nose cone fitting tight into the bellhousing, you should be OK with light to mild use. If not, yes the internals can be swapped over and I find SM465's all the time for $50-$100.

What? You're selling the trans and Tcase too? I'd give you $100 for the T case.
I just checked my local CL, 2 SM465's for $75 each and that's befire I'de get to work him over and get'm for $50 each, so you better stick to $50 on your broken one. Hell go for it, ask $100 and let them talk you down. Honestly someone might buy it just for the SM465 to NP205 adapter cuz I do know of 2 people who broke their SM465 adapter. I am interested in the Tcase though. It has the same spline count as Th400. I wunderr how much freight would be? Probably enough to kill the deal. Those NP205's aren't light. But honestly, you can get more for that Tcase. Honestly If I were you, I'd keep that NP205. Especially since you're running a NP203 full time. Keep that bitch for yourself. It's better than the NP203. NP203 is full time and chain drivein, NP205 is part time and gear to gear, no chain to stretch. :grd:

BTW, there is also other tricks in hooking an NP205 and an NP203 together as a doubler and you have a twin stick Tcase with some mega crawl ratio. That's for the heavy duty wheelers and rock crawlers though. Very doubtful you need it, but I would hold onto the NP205 for a swap. You might even need to so a Th400 swap with it, but then you'd have a bullet proof tranny/tcase train.

I've got one of those adapters and I can't sell it

Also, that np205 will not work behind a TH400, it will only work behind a 465 with a 10 spline output. You can swap a 27 spline input into the 205, then it will work behind a stubby output th350 or a 700r4 with a spacer. A 32 spline input won't fit into the case because it uses a larger bearing.

im really not sure if the np203 i put in has a part time kit or not, if it doesnt ill probably pay the tranny guy one town over to swap it in for me, i really dont want to open it up but would like the part time kit.

my brother said he wanted the axles and drive train for his yoda but today hes not sure if he wants to do it, i think he thought i would do it for him, but no, im not working on his truck, i hardly have time for my own. may end up selling the lot minus the cab/title i think youre right on the doubler, id never use it
