Picked up 3 of the four wheels I need tonight. I did get all four trim rings, all four center caps with retainers and all the lug nuts I need for $150.00. Now to find the last wheel, peel the tires and get em' blasted and painted.....

Wheels came out nice. I have tried to buy 2000+ year suburban before getting the 91. They ride a lot better than the squares, but had to give in for the old square look.

Well, sorry to keep everyone in suspense but due to the wheel design they wont clear the calipers. Pretty expensive tech lesson here. I have over $260 into this and am at square one.....

Found these instead

Wish I could run trim rings tho. Seems to me there used to be some rings that grabbed on the edge of the rim. They were very thin and kindof cool. I can't seem to find them tho.

I thought this was the case in the beginning but once you started painting them just assumed I was wrong and was eager to see the result. Sorry about the let down :(

I assumed too. You live and learn I guess. I figured because they were 16" they would fit but the way they attach the centers reduces the inside diameter by 1/2" so they hit. I suppose I could space them out but I don't like spacers. I like the police persuit wheels and they fit but I can't put trim rings on them.

Yeah I agree about not using spacers. Just another point of failure is you went that route. When I get at a computer I'll do some brainstorming on this and see if I can't think of another route you can go and still active the look you want with the black wheels and beauty trim rings

$250.00 without the tires but with the silver chevy centers. Gonna paint them with the charcoal rustolium hammered paint. I considered masking a ring around the edge and painting that silver. It would be as close to the look I want without spending over a grand on wheels.

So a little more photo shop action. This looks to be the way I am going with wheels now.
