Howdy gents,

Is anyone running these? Thinking about them for my c20 suburban. Do they stop better than factory single piston calipers?

They use factory pads,so they won't make a huge difference if any in actual stopping power. A different compound pad would be the only real advantage, you can just put better pads on your calipers. Same size pads similiar clamping forces no big change from factory calipers. The advantage of different calipers and 2 piston calipers is the ability to run a bigger pad for more surface area on the rotor. Another thing about brakes is if you think about if you use a longer wrench you have more leverage. Same with brakes if you have a bigger diameter rotor,it moves the calipers further from the center of the hub, giving the calipers more leverage to stop the vehicle. I don't know if there are big brake kits for these trucks or not. If there are that would give you the most increase.

A good investment to get away from ****** parts store replacements.

I've got basically the same calipers, but they've got smaller pistons because they're for the rear. Havent ordered the fronts yet, but those are the ones I was looking to get to match my rears.
