will this tranny fit?

hey guys, i have a 76 c10 with a smallblock, 2wd. i found a 91 camaro rs with a 3.1 v6 and a 700r4 tranny real cheap. will the 700r4 bolt up to my smallbock in my c10 ? i know the 80,s 2.8 v6,s wouldnt, but i,m not sure about the rwd 3.1 v6 to a smallblock. anbody know for sure, before i buy this? thnx in advance guys.

3.1 and 2.8 are both the same block so no they wont bolt up.

yep they are 60 degree v6's not 90's like a 4.3 or small block/big blocks.

Could swap th guts over but wouldnt last long behind a v8 of any horsepower.
