Which transmission would you use?

Right now i am building a 383 stroker for my pickup truck. 1987 Chevy Scottsdale lifted on 33s. As f right now I have a turbo 350 in the truck. That tranny leaks so much tranny fluid it is ridiculous. When I drop the new motor in, I will also be rebuilding my exciting tranny or replacing it with a different rebuilt one. What transmission wild you recommend putting in my truck behind a 383 stroker??

Kinda depends on what your plans are for the truck. Do you want it to stay automatic? Manual? Overdrive?
There's a lot of different ways to go, just depends what you want from it.

Rebuilding the 350 that's in it would be the simplest and most cost effective way to go. The trans can be built to handle the engine, and you wouldn't need to change any drive shafts lengths.

Whatever you decide, add an aftermarket transmission cooler. As big as you can stand.
For example, I run a PERMACOOL 25,000 GVW cooler in my SS.
That th350 is 12 years old and chirps third behind a 362.....I mean 305!
